Loftus-Cheek swapped Stamford Bridge for Selhurst Park back in July in a bid to get more first-team football. And he's made 15 Premier League starts so far for Palace, earning rave reviews from fans and pundits alike in the process. Loftus-Cheek's prospects of making the grade back at Chelsea were dealt their latest blow yesterday when his billiga fotboll tröjor parent club wrapped up a deal for Ross Barkley. Parish was asked about the chanches of Palace signing the 21-year-old on a permanent basis in the wake of that switch. But he admitted to Sky Sports' The Debate show panel that he's not in a position to say if a deal can be struck. "We've done a deal with Chelsea for a year loan," said Palace chief Parish, when asked about a potential permanent agreement by Geoff Shreeves. "The deal there is that we get a good player and we help them develop the player which I think we're keeping our end of the bargain and they've certainly delivered a good fotbollströja player. "That's the arrangement we've got with Chelsea, I think anything else would happen at the end of the season. "What we hope for Ruben is that he goes to the highest point of the game and we help him get there. "We aren't thinking about that right now and I think it would be disrespectful."
